WHEN TO GO
This itinerary works well throughout the year, however many prefer to visit during the dry seasons, January to March and July to October as the animals tend to gather in numbers around permanent watering holes. Vegetation is also less lush, making animals more visible. From mid July to September, the Masai Mara migration is more concentrated and the Masai Mara is refreshingly green. Kenya’s weather is also coolest at this time, with temperatures between + 40˚F to – 70˚F.
